General Information

VEGAS Company was set up in 1997 in Brest (Belarus) on the basis of private capital as a limited liability company. VEGAS is a resident of Free Economic Zone "Brest", which gives it a number of tax and customs privileges. The company specializes in the manufacture of orthopedic mattresses and sleeping accessories bearing the registered trade mark VEGAS. The geographical position of the manufacture is very favorable, as Brest is situated in the center of Eastern Europe, on the border of Belarus and Poland that is a member of the European Union. The trans-European Е30 highway goes through the city, which helps the company to use actively raw materials and accessories of European manufacturers and to expand to other markets both in the East and in the West.

Products

The company consistently works on improvement and diversification of its products. Over ten years, the mattress line has grown from several models up to several dozen models. The success and efficient development of the company is proved by the fact that other manufacturers have started manufacture of some mattress models developed and patented by VEGAS. The range of products has also extended. Today it includes several classes of orthopedic mattresses, orthopedic pillows, orthopedic foundations and bed clothes.

VEGAS mattresses are classified into several collections for customers with various tastes and income. Comfort Collection is the company's basic collection consisting of mattresses with independent spring units. It is intended for a wide circle of consumers. Modern Collection is created for clients who keep abreast of the times. Advanced technologies providing unique microclimate for the sleeper are used in this collection of mattresses. Exclusive Collection due to its "premium" class components is intended mostly for exacting and wealthy customers. Mattresses of Ecolatex Collection, are springless and are made of 100% coconut coir and latex that are natural materials. Standard Collection based on Bonnell Spring System is a high quality for resonable price. Prominent among VEGAS line is children’s mattress collection Vegas Kids providing comfortable and sound sleep for the little ones.

Raw materials and accessories by key European manufacturers, advanced technologies combined with quality management according to ISO 9001:2000 allow the company to manufacture the highest class products.

Development

Over VEGAS's ten-year existence, the output has increased 8 times, the number of employees 6 times and floor spaces 20 times. The company regularly participates in the largest Eastern European furniture exhibitions and it more than once became a prize and award winner of numerous competitions. VEGAS has won several Belarusian government awards for achievements in the field of quality.

Markets

Traditionally, the basic markets for VEGAS's products are the former USSR countries — Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine. The company presents and sells its products through an extensive hierarchical network of regional representative offices and dealers. In 2007, the company started entering Eastern and Central European markets — a representative office has been opened in Slovakia.
